Our story

From our soil to your table

Our Little Farm isn't a poultry shed, and it never will be. Our hens live out in the orchard, under the fruit trees. What began with a few birds and a stretch of red Mantin earth has grown into something closer to an ecosystem than a farm — the chickens feed the soil, the soil feeds the trees, and the trees feed us.

The idea hasn't changed: love the land, and it loves you back. We've watched tired, lifeless ground turn rich and fertile under that one simple promise.

No shortcuts, no rushing the seasons — just honest food, grown the slow way, by people who'd happily share a pot of tea with you at the gate.

Egg prices: RM30 per box of 15 — that's RM2 an egg.

OurLittleFarm Journal July 2026 Our first hatchling. 🐣 After 21 days of patiently sitting on her nest, Villy welcomed her very first chick into the world. For the past three weeks, she barely left her nest, only stepping away once a day to eat, drink, stretch her legs, and quickly return to her eggs. Watching her quiet determination has been one of the most beautiful experiences on our little farm. Villy started with six eggs. As the days passed, we checked their development each week. Some never developed, while others stopped along the way. In the end, only two eggs remained. Today, one of them finally hatched. The other egg is still under Villy’s care, and we’re giving it a little more time. Nature doesn’t always unfold the way we hope, but that’s what makes every new life so precious. Welcome to the world, little one. 🐣 This week in our orchard. 🌳

A Broody Hen in the House

We spotted another very dedicated broody hen in the flock. Meet Villy. For the past few days, Villy has been sitting faithfully in the nesting box, day and night, patiently incubating the fake eggs we’ve placed there. When a hen becomes truly broody, she even plucks the feathers from her chest so her warm skin can make direct contact with the eggs, giving them the best chance to hatch. Watching her devotion is both heartwarming and a little heartbreaking, knowing she’s caring for eggs that will never hatch. So we’re making a plan for her. We’re preparing a separate breeding flock to produce fertilised eggs, while also building a cosy maternity pen where Villy can safely hatch and raise her future chicks. Nature has an incredible way of reminding us that motherhood is guided by instinct, patience, and unwavering love. We can’t wait to share Villy’s journey with you.

Thoroughly enjoyed their durian. Creamy and sweet with a hint of bitterness. Their organic eggs have the orangest yolk I’ve seen in Malaysia. Reminded me of the eggs in Japan! Don’t hesitate to order. You won’t be disappointed!
